Corporate Safety Student - Summer 2025 Cavendish Farms New Annan, PE, Canada Moncton, NB, Canada Apply Now: Job Description We are looking for a Corporate Safety Summer Student to work with our experienced safety teams throughout our facilities at Cavendish Farms. Come and learn about our Company and build your skills working in a diverse and interesting environment. You will be responsible for the delivery of a safety related project over the summer where you will work with various locations and divisions and be engaged in a variety of functions such as, providing safety administration support, hazard Identification analysis, site visits for compliance, and support some initiatives within our safety management system. $19.50 -$24/hourly. Responsibilities • Plan, develop, and deliver on a health and safety specific project by the end of your summer term. • Support the team as needed in incident investigations, hazard recognition and control, and other safety and health related activities • Conduct site compliance audits and reporting across our operations in PE, NB, & NS
Qualifications • Attending a post-secondary education in a related field (health, safety, environment, project management, engineering) • Excellent ability to multi-task • Solid analytical and data-driven thinking • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, and strong writing skills • Functional time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines • Ability to work independently as well as strong team player • Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office suite of tools • A valid drivers license and the ability to travel |
