¼â½ÐÊÓƵ signs degree pathway with NSCAD University

Holland ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ has signed a degree pathway agreement with that will enable graduates of the one-year Fundamental Arts certificate program to receive credit in the university’s Bachelor of Fine Arts degree program.

The agreement stipulates that graduates of the Fundamental Arts program will receive approximately one year of credit toward the four-year degree program. The Bachelor of Fine Arts program gives students the unique opportunity to specialize in a selected area while also exploring other fine art disciplines.

The purpose of the Fundamental Arts program is to enable students to explore the visual arts in order to build their portfolio and explore their interests.  Holland ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ program manager Liam Corcoran said the agreement will provide graduates from the Fundamental Arts program with a seamless transition into university.

“To be able to enter an institution as prestigious as NSCAD with full credit for the year they spent at the college gives our graduates a wonderful opportunity to continue their studies,” he said.

Rose Zack, Manager, Admissions and Enrollment at NSCAD, said the agreement is beneficial to the university, too.

“This agreement opens an important path for us to welcome more students from Holland ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ to NSCAD. Students can be confident that when they consider coming to NSCAD, their experience at Holland ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ will be recognized.
