Parents looking for a unique summer experience for their child have a new option this summer, a Holland ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ Broadway Bootcamp. Children in Kindergarten all the way up to Grade 9 will fine-tune their performance skills in the week-long camps in the Florence Simmons Performance Hall, located on the Prince of Wales Campus in Charlottetown.
Participants will learn scenes, songs, and dance routines from the most popular and successful Broadway shows with veteran performer and teacher Lori Linkletter. The camps will run 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday starting July 10. The campers will be sorted into groups according to their age, with the entire troupe coming together on Friday afternoons for a showcase performance in front of family and friends.
“I’m so excited to bring these amazing camps to Holland ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ in the Florence Simmons Performance Hall,” said Linkletter. “The camps provide an opportunity to explore the best of Broadway with young performers and watch them learn and grow in a safe, fun, and creative environment.”
The cost for each week-long camp is $250 plus HST & fees for the first registration, and $225 plus HST & fees for each additional sibling. For more information or to register for Broadway Bootcamp, visit ticketpro.ca.
