Holland ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ is now accepting applications for the new one-year Bioscience Technology Post-Graduate Certificate program, which will start in August.

The certificate program includes practical and applied courses from the college’s two-year Bioscience Technology program to complement the theoretical science courses students take in a Bachelor of Science degree program. The post-graduate certificate program provides rigorous and broad training in biotechnology to enable graduates to enter the workforce or to enhance their access to post-graduate opportunities such as master's degree programs.

While at Holland ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ, students receive extensive lab-based instruction, and complete an independent research project on a topic of their choice. Students learn a variety of practical skills, including natural product extraction, fermentation, and bacterial and mammalian cell culture techniques.

Holland ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ’s bioscience technology programs have strong ties to industry, giving students access to exciting on-the-job training opportunities, as well as the ability to network with industry partners before they complete the program.
