The event, sponsored by PepsiCo Beverages, recognized the hard work, academic excellence, volunteerism, community service, leadership skills, and professional promise of Holland ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ students. Approximately 150 donors support scholarships, bursaries, and awards, and their commitment and generosity were also celebrated at the event.
Students from the Holland ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ School of Performing Arts Music Performance program jazz band entertained the recipients, their families and donors; and students from the college’s Culinary Institute of Canada provided refreshments.
Wilma Hambly, vice-chair of the Holland ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ Foundation Board of Directors, commended the students and thanked the donors.
“It truly amazes me, the caliber of young people who attend Holland ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ. We are proud of their accomplishments and join them in feeling very thankful for our donors who give so generously,” she said.
