Welshmen prepare for Christmas concert


The Holland ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ Welshmen Band are preparing for the eighth annual Christmas concert, taking place Tuesday, December 1 at 7 p.m. in the Centre for Community Engagement on the Prince of Wales Campus.

This year, the band will play Fanfare for St. Cecilia, Andre Jutras’ C’est Noel, and T’was in the Moon of Wintertime along with other seasonal favourites. Students from the Music Performance program’s Celtic and World Music Ensemble, led by instructor Kendra MacGillivray, will perform Caledonia and Tell My Ma. The Music Performance program is part of the Holland ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ School of Performing Arts, a partnership with Confederation Centre of the Arts.

Admission is free of charge, donations for the Welshmen Band equipment fund would be greatly appreciated.
