Holland ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ recently held a retirement dinner to honor and give tribute to four retiring staff members - Carol Connick, Ferne Harvey, Donald MacKenzie and Robert Wall. The dinner was held at the Tourism and Culinary Centre.
During the ceremony, Dr. Alex (Sandy) MacDonald, Director, Educational Services and Programs, Holland ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ, acted as master of ceremonies while remarks and presentation of gifts to the retirees were made by Borden Boyles, Chair, Holland ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ Board of Governors.
"The evolution of Holland ¼â½ÐÊÓƵ from where it started in 1969 to where it is in 2004, 35 years later, would not have been possible without the commitment and accountability of its staff members," said Mr. Boyles. "We are proud to recognize your contribution and celebrate the beginning of your new endeavours."
